.03 Fees and Costs.
A. The Secretary and the mechanical boards have agreed to average their direct and indirect costs, based on the calculation of costs performed by the Secretary in consultation with the mechanical boards. Based on these calculations, the Board sets the following non-refundable fee:

(1) Original License:

(a) Master — $22.50;

(b) Journeyperson — $16.50; and

(c) Apprentice — $11.

(2) License renewal:

(a) Master — $28;

(b) Journeyperson — $16.50; and

(c) Apprentice — $11.

(3) Uninsured status certificate:

(a) Initial uninsured status — $56

(b) Uninsured status renewal — $56

(4) Reapplication after expiration of inactive status — $112.50.

(5) Reactivation — $56.

(6) Reinstatement of License:

(a) Up to and including 30 days after license expiration — $28

(b) 31 days through 60 days after license expiration — $56

(c) 61 or more days after license expiration — $112.50.

(7) Local registration assignment identification — $56.

(8) Status change — $56.

(9) Letter of Good Standing — $50.

B. An applicant for an examination or reexamination shall pay an examination or reexamination fee directly to the testing service chosen by the Board to develop or administer the examination, as such fees are established by the testing service selected by the Board.
