April 3, 2022 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 22-012 Trainer Scott Renz is fined $1000.00 being the trainer of record on sample #E444137 taken from WEEKEND GETAWAY in the 7th race on March 9th, 2022 at Rosecroft Raceway, was found to contain the drug Tapentadol (Nucynta). Trainer Renz will be issued a 30 day full suspension from April 7th, 2022 through May 6th, 2022. During this suspension, he and all horses trained by him are barred from the grounds, under the jurisdiction of the Maryland Racing Commission. Any transfer of horses during the suspension must be approved by the judges at Rosecroft Raceway or the Maryland Racing Commission. WEEKEND GETAWAY finished 2nd and was placed last. Fined: $1,000. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance, and all fines are due within 10 days of ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

April 15, 2022 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 22-013 Driver Bryson Dunning is fined $200.00 for excessive use of the whip while driving ALWAYS A BLUE SKY in the 9th race on April 13th, 2022 at Rosecroft Raceway. This is Mr. Dunning’s second offense of the meet. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

RCR 22-014 Trainer Trevor Stafford is fined $100.00 for being late to the paddock with WHISKEYINMYWATER for the 10th race on April 13th, 2022 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.
