Driver Justin Vincent is fined $150.00 for interference with LADY JOSEPHINE while driving TOOTSY ROLLS QUICK in the 5th race on August 4th, 2021 at Ocean Downs. TOOTSY ROLLS QUICK hooked wheels with LADY JOSEPHINE in the stretch, causing interference. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling. COMAR: 09.10.02.33 H(1)(b).

Trainer Richard Malone Jr., for being the trainer of record on sample #34967 taken from BEAM M W in the 11th race on July 19th, 2021 at Ocean Downs, was found to contain the drug Medroxyprogesterone. This is Malone Jr.`s second positive offense of 2021 with Medroxyprogesterone with BEAM M W. Trainer Malone Jr. must forfeit all purse monies, and BEAM M W finished 1st and was placed last. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance. COMAR: 09.10.03.04B.

Trainer Thomas Meilhammer, for being the trainer of record on sample #34963 taken from JUST FAYE in the 8th race on July 19th, 2021 at Ocean Downs, was found to contain the drug Flunixin, at a concentration of 11.6 ng/ml. Trainer Meilhammer is fined $500.00, and must forfeit all purse monies. JUST FAYE finished 1st and was placed last. Trainer Richard Malone Jr., for being the trainer of record on sample #35043 taken from BEAM M W in the 8th race on July 26th, 2021 at Ocean Downs, was found to contain the drug Medroxyprogesterone. This is Richard Malone Jr.`s third offense of 2021 with Medroxyprogesterone with BEAM M W. Trainer Richard Malone Jr. will be issued an 120 day suspension from September 29th, 2021 to January 26th, 2022. This suspension to be served consecutively after his suspension is completed from July 19th, 2021 to September 28th, 2021 from a previous offense. During this suspension, he and all horses trained by him are barred from the grounds, under the jurisdiction of the Maryland Racing Commission. Any transfer of horses during the suspension must be approved by the judges at Ocean Downs or the Maryland Racing Commission. BEAM M W finished 1st and was placed last.
