Maryland Racing Commission January 22 Meeting CANCELLED
BALTIMORE, MD (January 21, 2016) – Due to the impending snow storm and the State of Emergency declared by Governor Larry Hogan, the Maryland Racing Commission, a division of the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, has CANCELLED its meeting regarding the proposed Satellite Simulcast Betting Facility at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. The open meeting was scheduled for 4 PM tomorrow at the Fairgrounds.
The Commission will reschedule the meeting within the coming weeks and will provide broad public notification of the new date, time and location.
The Maryland Racing Commission oversees and regulates both the harness and thoroughbred horse racing industry in Maryland.
