Safe and Sound Week - MOSH

MOSH Safe and Sound Week

Safe + Sound Week held nationally every August, celebrates achievements in workplace health and safety programs while providing resources and insights to ensure the safety of workers across America. This campaign emphasizes the importance of safety programs for small and mid-sized businesses, which often have fewer resources dedicated to safety. Effective occupational safety and health (OSH) programs help organizations proactively manage workplace risks, preventing injuries and illnesses.

Why Participate?

Effective safety and health programs are proactive in identifying and addressing workplace hazards to prevent injuries and illnesses, thereby enhancing sustainability and financial performance. Taking part in Safe + Sound Week can initiate a new program, energize an existing one, or acknowledge achievements in safety.

Who Participates?

Everyone is encouraged to join the Campaign by starting, enhancing, or highlighting their workplace safety and health initiatives. All organizations eager to showcase their dedication to safety are invited to participate. Last year, over 3,900 businesses contributed to raising awareness about the health and safety of workers!
