#25-003 Trainer, Steven Chircop Dove is fined Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for not having the colors for “Jmr Speedy Escape”, entered to run in the sixth race at Laurel Park on January 31, 2025, after not having colors on (01/17/2025).
THIS IS A VIOLATION OF: [COMAR 09.10.01.09] which states in part……
“It shall be the sole responsibility of the trainer to see that his or her owner’s colors are in the
jockey’s quarters to be used for his or her respective entries, failure to do so, the trainer will be subject to fine”.

#25-004 In the ninth race at Laurel Park on February 8, 2025, horse #4 “Night Preacher”, ridden by
jockey Ismerio Villalobos was disqualified from third position and placed seventh. Inside the
1/8th pole the #4 “Night Preacher” swung out from behind horses, into the path of #7
“Latin Rebel” ridden by jockey Weston Hamilton, soundly bumping him. The rider took up
sharply to avoid further trouble.

#25-006 Jockey, Tais Lyapustina is in violation of the HISA riding crop rule #2280 (b)(1). During
the running of the seventh race on February 7, 2025, jockey Lyapustina hit her mount
“Bailintin” 9 times which is in violation of the 6 strike rule. On February 8, 2025 a hearing
was held to review the race. The Stewards issued the following penalty.
(1) Mr. Lyapustina is fined Two hundred and fifty ($250.00) dollars.
(2) Mr. Lyapustina is suspended one (1) racing day, February 14, 2025.

take up in anticipation of contact. The #3 straightened up and beat #2 in a tight finish.
