April 4, 2023 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 23-019 Trainer Kenneth Schlotzhauer is fined $100.00 for being late for Lasix with COSTELLO on March 30th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

April 4, 2023 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 23-020 Trainer Michael Greene is fined $100.00 for being late for Lasix with IN RECORD TIME on March 30th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

April 13, 2023 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 23-021 Trainer Steve Robinson, for being trainer of record on sample #E506099 taken on March 30th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway, was found to contain a Total Carbon Dioxide (TCO2) concentration of 43.34+-2.55 mmol/L. As a result, Robinson is fined $1000.00, and must return all purse monies. Robinson will also be issued a full suspension from April 14th, 2023 through May 13th. 2023. During this suspension, he and all horses trained and/or owned by him are barred from the grounds, under jurisdiction of the Maryland Racing Commission. Additionally, CRUSH HANOVER finished first and is placed eighth, and is placed on the stewards list from April 14th, 2023 through May 13th, 2023 as well. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance, and all fines are due within 10 days of ruling.

April 13, 2023 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 23-022 Trainer Colby Hubble, for being the trainer of record on sample #E538390 taken from CRYSTAL BEACH in the 7th race on March 23rd, 2023 at Ocean Downs, was found to contain the drug Flunixin, at a concentration of 12.20 ng/mL. The ARCI threshold for this medication is 5 ng/mL. As a result, Hubble is fined $500.00, and must forfeit all purse monies. CRYSTAL BEACH finished 1st and was placed eighth. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling, and all purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance.
COMAR: 09.10.03.04B. 1/2 multiple medication violation (MMV) point assessed.

April 4, 2023 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 23-023 Trainer Megan Roberts, for being the trainer of record on sample #E538422 taken from CENTURY HEFNER in the 4th race on March 30th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway, was found to contain the drug Triamcinolone Acetonide, at a concentration of 139.00 +-20.64 pg/mL. The ARCI threshold for this drug is 100 pg/mL. As a result, Roberts is fined $500.00 and must forfeit all purse monies. CENTURY HEFNER is disqualified, finishing 1st and was placed last. All fines are due within 10 days of the ruling, and all purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance.

April 18, 2023 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 23-024 Driver Trae Porter is fined $50.00 for failing to drive when programmed on TRY LINE in the 1st race on April 13th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling or the Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

RCR 23-025 Trainer William Bright is fined $100.00 for a late driver change in the April 20th, 2023 racing program at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

April 27, 2023 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 23-026 Driver Newton Sheridan is suspended from driving from April 30th, 2023 through May 2nd, 2023 for interference at the top of the stretch with JB`S STAR DANCER while driving DANDY IDEA in the 13th race on April 25th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway. DANDY IDEA finished 2nd and was placed 4th.
