RCR 23-042 Driver Anthony Armour is fined $100.00 for excessive use of the whip (one-handed whipping) before the ¾ pole while driving SPORTS BOX in the 6th race on November 30th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of the ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

RCR 23-043 Trainer Eric Davis is fined $100.00 for being late for Lasix with SMOKEY’S PASSION on December 12th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of ruling or Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received.

RCR 23-044 Trainer Walter Bozman Jr., for being the trainer of record on sample #E583465 taken from CINDY JO in the 8th race on November 14th, 2023 at Rosecroft Raceway, was found to contain the substance Phenylbutazone, at a concentration of 0.465 mcg/mL. The ARCI threshold for this controlled therapeutic substance is 0.3 mcg/mL. Due to potential mitigating circumstances, Bozman Jr. must only return all purse monies. CINDY JO finished 1st and was placed last. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance.

The ARCI threshold for this controlled therapeutic substance is 0.3 mcg/mL. Due to potential mitigating circumstances, Armour must only return all purse monies. EMMY LOUS HAYES finished 1st and was placed last. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance.
