October 2025 Standardbred Rulings - Maryland Racing Commission

RCR 25-013 October 9, 2025 - Rosecroft Raceway

Driver Johnathan Ahle is fined $150.00 for failure to have reasonable control of AND JUST LIKE THAT prior to the start, hooking wheels with TWISTED JANET and unseating her driver, before the 1st early race on October 6th, 2025 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of the ruling, or the Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received. COMAR: 09.10.02.33.H.(1)(k)

RCR 25-019 October 16, 2025 - Rosecroft Raceway

Driver Justin Walters is fined $150.00 for interference in the stretch, changing course and interfering with FREDERICKTOWN LAD while driving OMYGOODNESGRACIOUS in the 3rd race on October 13th, 2025 at Rosecroft Raceway. OMYGOODNESGRACIOUS finished 3rd and was placed 5th. All fines are due within 10 days of the ruling, or the Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received. COMAR: 09.10.02.33 H(1)(g).

RCR 25-020 October 20, 2025 - Rosecroft Raceway

Driver Jason Green is fined $100.00 for inappropriate use of the whip, using more than wrist action with minimal elbow movement, while driving IDEAL WISH in the 9th race on October 16th, 2025 at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines are due within 10 days of the ruling, or the Maryland Racing Commission licensee will be suspended until payment is received. COMAR: 09.10.02.33H(17)(b)

RCR 25-021 October 23, 2025 - Rosecroft Raceway

Trainer Eugene Robinson was the trainer of record on horse CRUSH HANOVER in the 5th race on October 6th, 2025 at Rosecroft Raceway. Post-race analysis of blood sample #E721996 taken from CRUSH HANOVER identified the presence of Dexamethasone at a concentration of 7.45 pg/mL +- 0.57 pg/mL. The threshold for this controlled therapeutic medication is 5 pg/mL. As a result, Robinson is fined $500.00 and must return all purse monies. Additionally, CRUSH HANOVER is disqualified, finishing second and placed ninth. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of this issuance, and all fines are due within 10 days of the ruling. COMAR: 09.10.03.04.B. 1/2 Multiple Medication Violation (MMV) points assessed.

RCR 25-022 October 27, 2025 - Rosecroft Raceway

Driver Jacob Roglitz is suspended from driving for three days (October 21st, 2025 through October 23rd, 2025) for interference in the stretch, changing course and interfering with WHISKEY WIZZARD while driving ONE COOL CAT in the 2nd race on October 20th, 2025 at Rosecroft Raceway. ONE COOL CAT finished 3rd and was placed 6th. COMAR: 09.10.02.33 H(1)(g).
