If you are a Maryland consumer who is unable to resolve a dispute with your financial institution or financial service provider, or if you believe your financial institution or financial service provider has violated Maryland’s consumer protection laws or is conducting business without the required license or registration, please submit a consumer complaint here.
Whistleblower Form
The Whistleblower Form is for individuals to submit whistleblower reports about regulated institutions or persons to the Commissioner of Financial Regulation. Whistleblowers may report anonymously if they choose. Please be advised that Maryland does not have a whistleblower statute and the Commissioner of Financial Regulation, other than acknowledging receipt, cannot communicate any information regarding a whistleblower submission. Furthermore, the Commissioner does not compensate whistleblowers.
Fraud, Theft, Forgery or Convictions Reporting Form
The Fraud, Theft, Forgery or Convictions Reporting Form is issued by the Commissioner of Financial Regulation pursuant to COMAR 09.03.10.02 . This Reporting Form may be used by regulated persons reporting pursuant to COMAR 09.03.10.02; it may also be used by persons not regulated by the Commissioner to report alleged acts, or suspected acts, of fraud, theft, or forgery, or convictions, of persons regulated by the Commissioner.
